INNERPARTYSYSTEM (Electronic Set) Innerpartysystem are an electronic rock band which formed in Mohnton, Pennsylvania, United States in 2006. They consist of Patrick Nissley (vocals, programming), Kris Barman (guitar, synths, programming), and Jared Piccone (drums). Their first record, “Innerpartysystem” was released on Island Records in 2008.
As of late 2008 the band started releasing seasonal mixtapes, including their remixes for Ladyhawke, The Presets, The Killers, David Bowie & Katy Perry, which resulted in support slots for the likes of Pendulum & Linkin Park. Their most recent EP Never Be Content was released in February 2011, and their second full length album is scheduled for release later in the year.
The guys will perform an Electronic set at Stealth Vs Rescued on Saturday 2nd April - before returning to Nottingham in June to support 3Oh!3 at their Rock City show. For an idea of what to expect check out this live mix from their show at London's Corsica Studios in January '11:

"Dark Sky running through the fundamentals of their genre-blending styles, the guys just know how to move a dancefloor! It’s just not start party vibes from start to finish with these guys!"
Seeing as there is a Bank Holiday on the Friday (22nd April) we thought we should throw a big party on the Thursday night. And when we say big, we mean BIG.

With numerous remixes under their belts and a handful of original releases to their name, Dark Sky are picking up some serious momentum, with their infectious brand of soulful garage and funky infused dub house, catching the ear of many a tastemaker.
With a packed gigging schedule and plenty of releases in the pipeline, the future looks bright for Dark Sky. 2010 saw the release of their first two EPs 'Something To Lose' on BlackAcre & 'Frames' on Pictures Music; the inclusion of their track 'Leave' on the prestigious Ninja Tune' 20th Anniversary compilation, and massive remixes for The xx, Stateless & Kelis.
This year the Dark Sky guys have also been having a busy time of it - remixing Ben Westbeech's 'Falling'; producing a cheeky Nelly Furtado bootleg (in the form of 'Promiscuous Gyal'); creating a highly rated mix for Fact Magazine, and also making an appearance on our favourite U-Stream show The Boiler Room.

TOMB CREW(Trouble & Bass) This Saturday at Stealth Vs Rescued we are pleased to welcome back our friends TOMB CREW, who headline Room 1 as part of their regular 'MyCITY Is For Pimps' clubnight. Tomb Crew comprised of Jamie, Nick and MC Illaman launch dancefloor destroying mixes of anything bass heavy – from house to kuduro and everything inbetween. Tomb Crew are part of the rapidly growing ‘new-bass’ scene but the truth is they have the mash-up principle down perfectly, the live show to end all live shows.
As well as the live shows, Tomb Crew have been creating remixes for Crookers, Drop the Lime, Oh Snap!, Totally Extinct Dinosaurs, Riz MC, Last Japan, Alex Winston & many more . With remixes already released on the Hot Chip affiliated label ‘Greco Roman’ and Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried, Tomb Crew’s production output is continuing to increase. Tomb Crew productions have seen radio and club support from Kissy Sell Out, Toddla T, Tayo, Crookers, Sinden, Brodinski, Trouble & Bass Crew, DJ Yoda, Joe Hot Chip, Mistajam, Congorock, Doorly, Rob Da Bank, Eddie Temple-Morris and many more.
Have a listen to their interview and mix for Marco Del Horno's Rinse FM show:
And in preparation for their forthcoming releases on Top Billin and Black Butter records the guys recorded a minimix of 100% original Tomb Crew productions. Check it!
JACQUES GREENE (Night Slugs/Lucky Me) The 21 year old Montreal-based dj/producer Jacques Greene has been making waves over the past few months, popping up late last year with releases on Night Slugs and Glasgow's Lucky Me label. His uplifting fusion of classic house and contemporary R&B has been setting dancefloors ablaze, so much so that after only two releases he has come over to the UK for a month long tour, including shows at BLOC weekend, Berghain (Berlin), Paris Social Club, Glasgow Sub Club and Plastic People London, before ending his tour with a Nottingham show at Stealth Vs Rescued (on Saturday 2nd April).
His first release was the track 'Baby I Don't Know (What You Want), which was featured on the Night Slugs Allstars Vol 1 Compilation:
This was soon followed by the release on 'The Look' EP on Lucky Me:
Little is known about the young producer (even his name is an alias), but one thing that is known is his love for analogue equipment. Have a look at the following videos, recorded in his studio prior to his Red Bull Music Academy appearance:
His productions are going from strength to strength, and his third 12" has just dropped - the awesome 'Another Girl', which will be followed by his remix of the forthcoming Katy B single 'Broken Record'.
Cosmin TRG (Hessle Audio/Tempa/Hotflush/Hemlock/50 Weapons) Cosmin TRG (formerly just TRG) is one of those producers who never seemed to have any one particular home base or community. Perhaps it’s being from Romania, or maybe it’s just the fact that his sound is as unpredictable as the labels he’s released on.
His first 12” was the debut release on Ramadanman/Ben UFO/Pangea's Hessle Audio label, garnering praise from BBC Radio 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs among others.
Cosmin TRG re-invents his music constantly, and currently champions modern electronics supported by the likes of Apparat, Benji B, Gilles Peterson, Martyn, Ben Sims, Marcel Dettmann, Untold, A Made Up Sound, the Arpiar collective, Shed, Roska, Deetron, Rob Da Bank, Laurent Garnier or Modeselektor among others. An alumni of the illustrious Red Bull Music Academy and a regular in music magazines such as Mixmag, DJ Mag, iDJ, Groove, Fact Magazine, Resident Advisor or Pitchfork Media, Cosmin TRG has presented his unique take on interesting dancefloor music to clubs and festivals including Sonar, The End, Fabric and the notorious Paris Techno Parade.

Producer/DJ/Musician Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points has been on the scene since his debut release in February 2009. Sam has been a firm fixture of radio show playlists worldwide and has steadily built a back catalogue of music that can be heard gracing the soundsystems of the globe's more respectable nightclubs and wearhouses.
Theo Parrish recently ended his infamous monthly East London session with a freshly pressed piece of Mr Points black plastic. He’s already provided guest mixes for Mary Anne Hobbs, Benji B and Gilles Peterson, and recently recorded his fourteen member strong ‘Floating Points Ensemble’ for a BBC Maida Vale session, resulting in him winning best ‘Maida Vale Session’ at Gilles Petersons Prestigious World Wide Awards.
Not bad for a young man who spends the majority of his time in a laboratory researching Neuroscience. Classically trained in music, Mr Shepherd applies his academic knowledge with modern styles, emersing himself in the cultures of dance music, with a vinyl habit that has taken him to Chicago and Detroit, simply to buy records. As well as his impressive production style, writing and arrangement skills, Floating Points is also building a reputation as one of the world's most exciting Dj talents, travelling the globe with his handmade E&S rotarary mixer.
Be it in house, hip hop, dubstep, techno, jazz or classical, the Floating Points sound manifests itself in many forms, always deep and soulful, but with reputable bounce and heavy bass, fans include Harmonic 313, Kode 9, Ramadanman, Geeneus, Four Tet and Radiohead! Floating Points hails from the talented fam of CDR Sessions in London, he is one of the most promising producers to be watched out for this year.
This week Floating Points got bloggers hyped the world over when he dropped the new Tom Yorke/Burial/Four Tet track 'Ego' on his Rinse FM show:

JULIO BASHMORE (dirtybird/Ten Thousand Yen/PMR Records) It might seem counterintuitive for a producer to detach himself from one of the planet's most thriving music scenes, but in the case of Matthew Walker, AKA Julio Bashmore, that's exactly what he did growing up in bass music hotbed, Bristol. You see, Julio's first love is house music. And operating just on the peripheries of the city's scene has allowed him to quietly cultivate a take on the genre unlike any other.
Julio may have appeared to burst on to the scene in late 2009, but the lead up to the Julio Bashmore EP for Claude VonStroke's highly influential dirtybird label was essentially a lifetime in the making. This breakthrough also meant a difficult decision: on the cusp of leaving for university Julio decided instead to remain in Bristol and install production and DJing as his primary focus.
Aged 14, a battered old PC and a copy of Reason became Julio's very first 'instruments.' He later experimented with synthesizers and guitars, playing in bands for a brief period, but by the time he was old enough to experience club culture firsthand, Julio had made the realisation that DJing was the true vehicle in which to deliver his music.
After spending considerable periods of time sharpening his mixing and productions skills, Julio's big breakthrough came with his 2011 track 'Battle For Middle You' released in January on his 'Everyone Needs a Theme Tune' EP on new London-based record label PMR Records.
Prior to this release Julio had crafted critically acclaimed tracks & remixes for the likes of Night Slugs, fabric, Ten Thousand Yen & Soul Motive.
Here are a selection of his forward-thinking house productions:
With a recent collaboration with the first lady of dirtybird J Phlip, and forthcoming remixes for Turbo Records & Sound Pellegrino 2011 is set to be a massive year for the modest young man from Bristol!
Julio Bashmore has been a very difficult man to book. We had been trying for over a year before managing it, as he had preferred to simply make music, than to traipse around DJ'ing. He is not anti-DJing, nor does he possess a sense of exclusivity; he simply prefers being locked away, producing. It is for this reason that we are so hyped for his upcoming set at Stealth.
Kode 9 Based in South London, Kode9s hyperdub sound is difficult to define, sometimes with beats, sometimes without, sometimes with a vocalist, sometimes without, the only continuity is the heavy sub bass. Currently, Kode9's DJ sets travel through a selection of dancehall influenced bass heavy skank, currently referred to as grime and dubstep. In 2006 he mixed the Dubstep Allstars Vol.3 CD compilation on Tempa records with vocalist Spaceape and released their debut album, 'Memories of the Future'.
Kode9 runs the record label Hyperdub (releasing artists such as the Burial, Joker, Zomby, Cooly G, Darkstar, The Bug, Warrior Queen and Ikonika).
For 4 years, Kode9 hosted the weekly Fwd>> show on Rinse FM, London's grime and dubstep pirate radio station, and is one of the rotating DJs at DMZ, the seminal dubstep night in London.
He has released tracks on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label, pioneering dubstep labels Tempa, Domino and his own Hyperdub imprint and has recently remixed artists such as Burial, Junior Boys, The Bug and local talent Geiom.
His DJ sets have helped spread the South London sound internationally, to East Asia, Europe, South America, North America and Australia, including headline shows at some of the world's top festivals including Sonar, Glastonbury, Outlook & Coachella.
His bass-heavy Essential Mix for Radio 1 dropped last week and is streamable via the BBC iPlayer until Saturday.

On Tuesday 8th March one of the hottest names in international dance music came to Stealth - in the form of American Electro House, Fidget House, House, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass and Dubstep superstar SKRILLEX.
SKRILLEX was touring Europe for the first time EVER and the sold out Stealth show was packed with everyone from bass heads to hardcore rockers.
If you managed to get tickets for the show you know how special it was - for those of you who missed out get a load of this:

Doc Daneeka (aka. Mial Watkins) is at the forefront of the UKs 'post-garage' scene, producing highly percussive house music rich in tropical drums and syncopated rhythms. Daneeka first came on our radar with his track 'Drums in the Deep', which was one of the standout tracks on Fabric's Elevator Music compilation.
This release was soon followed by Doc's debut EP on the Ramp Recordings offshoot label 'PTN', which garnered support from the likes of Brackles, Martyn, Gilles Peterson, Marcus Nasty, Sinden, Kode 9 & Oneman.
Not content with this Doc Daneeka started his own boutique label, Ten Thousand Yen, releasing limited 12"s from artists like Julio Bashmore, C.R.S.T and XXXY alongside his own unique material.
Remixes for the likes of Delphic, Brackles & Shortstuff, CRST, Norrit, Jazzanova and Venom & Damage have helped solidify his reputation; as have his second EP for PTN and his debut release for RAMP, the much praised 'Hold On':
Also worthy of note is his massive remix of Breach's 'Fatherless', which has been supported by the likes of Ben UFO, Jackmaster, Sinden, Bok Bok, Benji B & lots more:
With a slew of bookings all around Europe, Doc Daneeka’s energetic DJ sets are becoming sought after by clubs around the world, and don't miss the chance to catch him at Stealth Vs Rescued!

In advance of tonight's show at Stealth the guys over at dollop managed to catch a few minutes with the one and only CLAUDE VONSTROKE!
dollop: What do you think of the new hybrid of House, Dubstep and Techno that is coming out of the UK at the moment (eg. Julio Bashmore)?
CVS: Awesome. I love it. Finally something fresh to listen to.
dollop: And how is this hybrid of sounds received in the States?
CVS: We usually hear it for the first time just about the same time the trend dies in the UK. At the same time, we have our own trends. Maybe no one follows them like they do in London and Berlin but that's what makes us special, isn't it.
dollop: How is the dirtybird sound developing and what involvement do you have with that?
CVS: I am the A&R and owner of dirtybird so i guess i am responsible for the sound. The development is based entirely on the music that i like. Basically more grease and grit please. Don't be so obvious unless you are a genius and then you are allowed to make very simple tracks that kill because you know what you are doing
dollop: Which of your productions are you most proud of?
CVS: DB005 was the best 2 tracker combo I've done. All the way from goofy to emotional in one EP.
dollop: When did you start djing?
CVS: I had a radio show in High School which feels like about 100 years ago. There was no mixing involved with that. I would play a record then talk, then play another record. My show was called the Power Move and it was all hip-hop. I would give away a free pizza every show to get people to listen. It's not so common to have a radio station in a high school so i guess that was quite lucky.
CVS: I'm not (which is the point of the track to begin with).
dollop: Have you revisited Detroit recently? How does it's current party scene compare to the past?
CVS: I don't feel comfortable being an "official" reporter on the Detroit scene because i moved away a while ago to San Francisco, but as far as I can tell it's been picking up again. Last time i went there i played for 2000 people which was quite a big jump from the time before for about 350 only a year ago. I may have to qualify that by telling you that "Mini-Me" was the 'MC' of that larger event which could have accounted for at least 30 extra people.
Claude VonStroke plays at dollop tonight at Stealth alongside Jamie Woon (live), Benji B (Radio 1) and lots more.
BENJI B (Deviation / Radio 1) Benji B is a unique DJ, renowned for his unprecedented selections and distinctive style. Seamlessly drawing from several genres at once; in a single set you’ll hear brand new dubs and classic tunes side by side, the most cutting edge House, Dubstep and Funky tracks, Disco/Soul and Boogie. Headlining at House, Electronic or Hip Hop nights alongside some of the scenes finest artists, his versatility and exceptional selection makes him one of the only DJs to effortlessly play across the board.
Praised as one of the finest tastemakers by fans, producers and DJ’s, Benji is a respected broadcaster, having worked as a producer at Kiss FM before moving to the BBC. In 2002 Benji was invited to host his own show on BBC’s 1Xtra Radio station when the station launched. After 7 years, the weekly show moved to it’s prestigious 3-hour Sunday night slot. Playing a wide selection of brand new underground music, he touches on the genres of Hip Hop, House, Soul, Electronic, Detroit Techno, Dubstep, Boogie, Disco, while inviting his favourite guests to put together a mix for the show or join in the studio for an interview.
Benji B was the natural choice to take over from Mary Anne Hobbs when she decided to bow out of her weekly Radio 1 Dubstep and Electronica show, and since October 2010 he has found his his new home on Radio 1 every Thursday morning at 2-4am. For two hours every week Benji explores future beats, where you can hear him playing the freshest records around alongside guests in the studio such as Ramadanman, Jamie Woon, Toddla T, Flying Lotus, Carl Craig, Zed Bias, Boddika, Jam City & Photek.
With a loyal and diverse global audience, it’s fair to say he boasts one of the most varied and unique tracklistings on British radio today, as well as frequently being the highest rated most played-back shows on BBC Radio iPlayer.
