BASSLACED present...
BASSLACED present...

Bok Bok stands amongst London's underground music elite, with a unique sound and ever evolving, quintessentially UK but also alien - a grimy futuristic house/space crunk.
As a DJ, Bok Bok has been stacking riddims like Lego bricks since 2004, with his roots deep in the UK Grime sound. Unorthodox in every way, that music set off Bok Bok down a unique path. Since then he has spread his sights wider, taking in elements of gutter styles from around the globe, all of which share a certain off-the-wall bass-heavy vibe. Disregarding purism he instead hunts all over for fresh dubplates.

Bok Bok certainly has an ear for a big tune - often showcasing the hottest tracks months in advance of their release via his mixes for the likes of Mad Decent, Fact Magazine, XLR8R & 1Xtra. Notably his XLR8R podcast mix was voted 'The Best Podcast Mix of 2010", featuring tracks & remixes from the likes of Cosmin TRG, FaltyDL, Ramadanman, Untold, Ikonika, Martelo, D1, Girl Unit, Terror Danjah, Jam City, Azari & III, Cubic Zirconia & Dam-Funk:

D DOUBLE E (Newham Generals) @ Girls Go Free
★ D DOUBLE E (Newham Generals/Dirtee Stank/Rinse FM) ★
"Oh My Gosh... It's D Double!!!"
D Double E is one of the grime scene's most loved MCs, known for his distinctive flow and style.
Starting out as a member of the 187 Crew (alongside previous GGF Guest Jammer), D Double was soon invited by former school friends to join the infamous 'Nasty Crew' (alongside the likes of Kano & Marcus Nasty).
2004 saw collaborations with The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, Shola Ama, Kano, and not forgetting his feature on Lethal Bizzle’s Club Smash “Pow”, shooting straight in at number 11 in the UK charts.
In 2005, Double’s time with NASTY came to an end and along with fellow former member Footsie he formed the group Newham Generals, who were immediately signed to Dizzee Rascal’s label, Dirtee Stank Recordings. A world tour with Dizzee soon followed (including a show at Stealth in November '05), as well as the duo hosting a weekly slot on Rinse FM.
More recently D Double E has gained acclaim due to the Breakage produced collaboration 'Hard', and his 2010 solo smash 'Street Fighter Riddim'.
The last 12 months has seen D Double guest on the remix of P Money's anthem 'Slang Like This', and also jump on the massive 'Woo Riddim' ('Bad To The Bone') aswell as releasing the 'Bag Of Grease' EP featuring 'Like It Or Not'.
D Double E’s debut EP “Bluku! Bluku!” is scheduled for a 2011 release on Dirtee Stank Recordings.

Braiden (Rinse FM/Doldrums)
Listen to Braiden throw down a three-deck mix on leading London pirate Rinse FM, or play alongside the great & the good of dubstep at clubs like Plastic People, Scala, The End and The Egg, and it’s clear that he sees music through his own unique lens. An exhibitionist described by FACT Magazine as “absurdly talented”, Braiden lives up to the hype with a mixing style that thrives on the element of surprise – he has been known to crawl Berlin’s clubs in search of undiscovered glitch- or disco-infused music from alternate universes. An avid photographer who has recently shot artist portraits for the Ministry of Sound, look to Braiden for a technicolour vision of the future of London music.- Red Bull Music Academy 2010
Braiden, repping RinseFM, is celebrated for blowing up dubstep's limitations with his inventive selection and super-tight, technical mixing. Spearheading the current wave of London's what-do-you-call-it experimentation, his sets comfortably splice house, techno, garage and dubstep.- Night Slugs 2010
Check out his recent release on Joy Orbison's Doldrum's imprint for a taste of what's in store:
Also check out his exclusive mix for Sónar (including tracks by Claude VonStroke, Girl Unit, Lil Silva, Jam City, Justin Martin, Melé & Geeneus):

And finally check out his recent Rinse FM show (recorded back in August):
Alongside Braiden we have WIGFLEX residents Spamchop & Metaphi vs Metske and guests Epworth and Lamy.
On the night there will also be Wigflex clothing / record & artwork giveaways !!!

ONEMAN (Rinse FM) @ Stealth (09/04/10)

"It's a kind of an unwritten rule but by and large to become a big DJ in dubstep you need either two things: An incredible arsenal of new dubplates, or a talent for production such that you have, well, an incredible arsenal of new dubplates. But recently a DJ has managed a steep climb up the scene's ranks without either. He is DJ Oneman." Martin Clark, Pitchfork
Oneman's aim, "to make people dance and people dance to good beats" has resulted in him guesting regularly at the biggest Grime, Garage & Dubstep nights - including DMZ, Fabric, Dirty Canvas, YoYo, Night Slugs & FWD, and he is still the only artist ever to appear on Mary Anne Hobbs' BBC Radio 1 show without releasing a single record.
Also on the bill this Friday are the Australian female Dubstep DJ/Producer personally signed by Skream to his Disfigured Dubs label - KITO, and 'Gutter Dubstep Ravers' Bar9.
Advance Tickets are available NOW from here.
