presents...

BLAME (Music LP Tour)

Blame is one of the most creative producers on the drum & bass scene having hits with Music Takes You and Planet Neptune on the massively respected Moving Shadow label. Joining king of liquid drum and bass LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, Blame mixed the 2nd Logical Progression compilation series to great acclaim and globally toured with LTJ Bukem. Setting up own label 720 Degrees, Blame has also released on the mighty Hospital Records, Metalheadz and Charge Recordings.

Blame - Music Takes You (released in 1992)

In 2008 Blame released Stay Forever, a beautiful blend of beats and soaring strings that caught Radio 1’s attention in a massive way. Blame & Selah's “09 follow up Because Of You became Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World and Sara Cox's Single Of The Week. Blame is also renowned for his remixing skills that include David Guetta & Kelly Rowland’s UK no.1 hit When Love Takes Over; Steve Angello & Laidback Luke feat. Robin S Show Me Love and Alesha Dixon’s pop smash Let’s Get Excited.

Blame’s debut artist album The Music will be released this summer, pulling in collaborations with the massive Tinchy Stryder, respected microphone lyricist Dynamite MC, new upstart Fuda Guy, house legend Jocelyn Brown, Roll Deep Crew collaborator Alex Mills, UK hip hop originator Rodney P and new voices Tom Sears, DRS, Jenna G, Camilla and Jenny Fitz plus more surprises currently in polishing… The Music is set to send shockwaves through not only drum & bass and UK nu-urban but beyond into crossover pop.

The first single On My Own was released this April, featuring the chart topping Tinchy Stryder and new star Fuda Guy backed by Alex Mills. This is a break beat driven, electro edged, cross-over anthem that received massive props from a variety of DJs, artists and music enthusiasts and was championed by some of the top radio stations including Radio 1, 1Xtra and Kiss. With follow up singles slated to include the Fuda Guy & Camilla track Stars plus the awesome Goldmine featuring the liquid lyrical skills of Dynamite MC, the year ahead already looks set on course. Don’t blame us, Blame The Music…

Support for Blame comes from Detonate resident Transit Mafia.

In the upstairs room we have French house & techno producers Beataucue alongside Stealth resident D'lex and Lost Boyz Club DJs.

Detonate Hospitality this Friday at Stealth

Friday 15th October, 2010

Detonate and Hospitality team up for one of the biggest events of the year!

The Rescue Rooms will be hosting the Dubstep, courtesy of Dub Police records, with label boss Caspa headlining.

If you don’t know Caspa you don’t know Dubstep. With an epic list of tour dates taking him to every corner of the globe he still finds time to host a bi-monthly night at the world famous Fabric.

Not content with running 3 labels , producing dancefloor bomb after dancefloor bomb and the acclaimed album ‘Everybody’s Talking, Nobody’s Listening’, his remix skills are in higher demand than ever, remixing for the likes of Deadmau5, Miike Snow, Depeche Mode, Kid Sister and Adam F & Horx feat Redman to name just a few.

Caspa will be playing alongside two of his label’s signings, Emalkay and Subscape, with Rod Azlan on mic duties.

Upstairs in Stealth will be headlined by Jack Beats and DJ Zinc, both of whom will be bringing their bass heavy electro to rock our Funktion One stacks.

Jack Beats (aka. Beni G & Plus One) represent part of the new wave of British house music. Wobbly basslines, big breakdowns and edgy accapella’s are cut, copied and pasted together to create a floor-filling brand of house. On a similar tip DJ Zinc's take on 'Crack House' has hit the charts courtesy of 'Wile Out' featuring Ms Dynamite.

Downstairs in Stealth will be keeping the heads happy, with Calibre, Black Sun Empire, Teebee, Calyx, Klute and Soul Intent representing the deeper sound of D&B.

In The Forum Hospital Records will be celebrating the launch of the new Danny Byrd album ‘Rave ...Digger’ – released on 13th October. Bringing the ill behaviour alongside Danny Byrd will be label mates High Contrast and Netsky, with support from Dynamite MC, Wrec, Transit Mafia and Mischief.

This event is looking like a sell-out, so we advise you get your tickets asap.

TOM STAAR (Trouble & Bass/Moda) @ Stealth - 16/10/10

Saturday 16th October at Stealth Vs Rescued

TOM STAAR (Trouble & Bass/Moda)

Tom Staar, the third member of Team Moda, is fast becoming one of the UK's most gazed upon producers. Working behind the scenes, Tom honed his skills as a studio engineer over a number of years, producing for some of Dance Music’s most prolific names. Now, as the moons align, Tom is finally ready to defend our humble dance floors with his own interstellar spectrum of sonic ammunition.

With two EPs on Moda Music (the most recent of which, the 'Heavy Artillery EP' has been licensed to Drop The Lime's Trouble & Bass Records) and remixes for Fenech Soler, Crookers, Renee Fleming, Human Life & We Have Band already under his utility-belt, his credentials have seen him take-off all over the World, playing everything from 500 capacity clubs to 20,000 capacity festivals!

Tom Staar & Friends is the next chapter - a collaborations EP with Style Of Eye, Tony Senghore, Herve and Sam Obernik. Word on the flight deck is that this is shaping up to be completely and utterly off the chart!

Room 2 on Saturday is hosted by Sessions, and is headlined by Guido, the Bristolian signed to Punch Drunk records.

Advance tickets are available online from here.

MAGDA (M_Nus) & MARC HOULE @ Stealth

Sunday October 17th

M-NUS & ZLEEP PRESENT...

MAGDA ((M_Nus))

Magda is quite simply one of a handful of true luminaries in the world of underground House & Techno. Along with Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Marc Houle and Luciano there are few that have garnered such wide-sweeping respect & general popularity in equal measures. What makes her rapid rise all the more impressive is that unlike her contemporary trailblazers she has achieved this primarily as a DJ through international tours and mixes such as She's a Dancing Machine, Fabric 49.

Check out the reaction 1 minute 24 seconds in:

With her debut album ' From The Fallen Page' due to drop only days after this show, it's a safe bet that it will be well worth the wait.

MARC HOULE (live)(M_nus)

Since 2004, Houle has been a staple of Richie Hawtin's Minus imprint, through which he's released all of his records. The majority of his productions follow his label's stark aesthetic, though his biggest track to date remains "Techno Vocals," the 2007 single that poked fun at minimal's obsession with the pitched-down male voice.

Though not as tongue-in-cheek in tone, Drift also stems from Houle's distate for current musical trends, or what a press release describes as his "personal frustrations with what is considered 'techno.'" The album was composed during this year's long and dreary Berlin winter, as reflected in titles like "Inside," "Seeing in the Dark" and, more hopefully, "Melting." It will be his first album since 2006's Bay of Figs.

L-VIS 1990 (Mad Decent/Night Slugs) at Stealth (09/10/11)

SATURDAY 9th OCTOBER, 2010

STEALTH Vs RESCUED present...

L-VIS 1990 (Mad Decent / Night Slugs / Sound Pellegrino)
Deeply rooted in the fabric of London’s vibrant scene, L-VIS 1990 (aka) James Connolly couples a defined British style with elements of global low end vibrations. By fusing elements of Garage, House, Dubstep and all around Bass Heavy riddims, L-VIS’s sound is filtered and reduced into what can best be described as a minimalist take on rhythmic club beats floating on elephantine subs.

Forever you (Produced by L-vis 1990)

Alongside Bok Bok he founded the Night Slugs record label at the start of 2010, releasing tracks from the likes of Mosca, Egyptrixx, Lil Silva, Girl Unit, Kingdom & Velour (aka. Hyetal & Julio Bashmore).
As his original perspective on dance music has attracted the attention of DJ’s world wide, L-VIS dubs have become a staple in the live sets of Diplo, Drop the Lime, Sinden, Brodinski, Crazy Cousinz, DJ Mehdi, Teki Latex and Orgasmic.

Gucci Vump - Sha! Shtil! (L-Vis 1990 remix) by soundpellegrino
