Get your diaries out - Mount Kimbie will be playing live at Stealth Vs Rescued on Saturday October 9th.
Since releasing their first EPs last year on Hotflush Recordings last year, UK duo Mount Kimbie has shot into the stratosphere, with their debut album, Crooks and Lovers, receiving critical praise from all angles - eg:
We highly recommend their recent mix for XLR8TR, containing their own tracks alongside the likes of James Blake, Pangaea, Zomby & Untold.
Here is the video for the lead single 'Would Know':
The Mount Kimbie show is part of our regular Stealth Vs Rescued clubnight - with £5 advance tickets available here.
At the helm of one of the most exciting club nights to emerge in recent times, Jaymo & Andy George have crafted a brand that stands for cutting-edge music and sleepless nights.
Their captivating performances are built on House, Techno & Disco with regular sidesteps into the unknown. Everything is edited, remixed and dissected especially for their DJ sets!
In April 2008 Jaymo & Andy became two of the youngest people to ever record a live Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1. After catching the attention of the station bosses, the boys landed their very own show just months later, taking the sound of Moda to millions of listeners around the world!
Jaymo & Andy have quickly become a part of the fabric at Radio 1. As well as broadcasting their live shows, they regularly cover and co-host with the likes of Annie Mac, Kissy Sell Out, Vernon Kay & Zane Lowe, as well as reporting from major BBC events such a the Big Weekend & Creamfields.
As Producers Jaymo & Andy have remixed some of the worlds coolest artists, including Miike Snow, Passion Pit, Wiley and Fenech Soler. With DJ's such as A-Trak, Annie Mac, Jack Beats and Fake Blood supporting their music, its easy to see why all ears are on the boys, and why they have just released their debut single, "Hold Me Back" this Summer to critical acclaim.
So feel free to try predict what the next 12 months will hold for these two young talents – but if the last 12 months are anything to go by you’re gonna have your work cut out!

"We're not a band, we're a lot." No arguments there; they’ve been packing out stages from London to New York in matching t-shirts bearing the Tomb Crew legend for the last two years.
With two DJs and one MC, they launch dancefloor destroying mixes of anything bass heavy - from house to dubstep and everything inbetween. As the legions of grinning converts –everyone from grime heads to indie kids - will attest, Tomb Crew are very much the inebriated and debauched sound of Fun. You know what that is, right?
You could see Tomb Crew as part of the rapidly growing ‘new-bass’ scene – also containing Mumdance, L-Vis 1990 and Oneman - but the truth is they have the mash-up principle down perfectly, the live show to end all live shows..
As well as the live shows, J@peg - the crew's producer - has been honing crafting with his bmore influenced dubstep/kuduro on remixes for Crookers, Drop the Lime, Oh Snap!, Totally Extinct Dinosaurs, Last Japan, Let’s Go To War, and many more.
With remixes already released on the Hot Chip affiliated label 'Greco Roman' and Fat Boy Slim's Southern Fried as well as an original release on former Bomb funk MCs Rico Tubbs Bass=Win Record label, Tomb crew's production output is continuing to increase.
Tomb Crew productions have seen support from Toddla T, Tayo, Crookers, Sinden, Brodinski, Trouble & Bass Crew, DJ Yoda, Joe Hot Chip, Mistajam, Congorock, Doorly, Rob Da Bank, Eddie Temple-Morris and many more. With hundreds of dancefloors smashed since their inception in 2007 it is only a matter of time before they explode - from East London to the world..!
Tomb Crew have played with -Public Enemy, DJ Zinc, Herve, Kazey & Bulldog, Rusko, Sinden, N-Type, Plastician, Benga, Loefah, Skream, Dexplicit, Lethal Bizzle, Chase & Status, BodyRox, Shy FX, Remarc, Toddla T, Oneman, Martelo, Pendulum, Tchiky Al Dente, Boy Better Know, Jammer, Tayo, DJ Q, Drop The Lime, Starkey, Tinchy Stryder, Andy George, Youngsta, DJ Hype, Mista Jam, Jack Beats, Kissy Sellout, Lvis 1990, Foamo, Ruff Sqwad, The Nextmen and many, many more.
Tomb Crew have played at - Fabric (London), Matter (London), LOVE (New York) Hiro Ballroom (New York), Noveau Casino (Paris, France), Favela Chic (London & Paris), KOKO (London) La Nau (Barcelona, Spain), Fabrica (Bucharest, Romania), Sudpol (Luzern, Switzerland) Academy (Manchester), Scala (London) , Docks Du Sud (Marseille, France), Glade Festival, Big Chill Festival, Underage Festival, Spring Festival (Graz, Austria) Lovebox festival, Great Escape Festival, Offset Festival, Outlook festival (Pag, Croatia) and hundreds more.

LIL SILVA (NIGHT SUGS) http://www.myspace.com/djlilsilva 19-year-old Lil Silva is fast becoming one of the most talked about artists on the UK Funky scene. Not only does he possess the musical understanding to work with genres such as American House, Funky and Grime but his ability also allows him to merge and blend styles. Silva’s flair manifests itself in his creative production techniques, showcasing a distinct sound which he looks to continually evolve. Always looking to shy away from convention, the young producer’s talents are becoming as renowned for their innovation as they are for the effect they are having on the scene. Prominent cultural magazine factmag.com has even gone as far as describing Lil Silva’s sound as 'grime in disguise.' Having gained initial exposure via Marcus Nasty, pioneer of the UK funky house scene, Lil Silva's track Different featured on the Ministry of Sound's 2009 compilation, 'The Sound of UK Funky.'
In recent months his fresh sound has been put to use on a much needed remix of Sidney Samson’s No. 1 hit Riverside, which received significant airplay from the likes of Annie Mac and Mista Jam.
As well as working on a track with Ms Dynamite, 2010 will also see the release of Lil Silva’s debut E.P. which goes by the working title of 'Horrible'. "I want producers and artists within the scene to help set a standard, especially when it comes to production - I’d like to see people experimenting with different sounds, instruments and programs. This way the music would appeal to a wider audience."
And with tunes such as Funky Flex and Seasons pushing his individual sound, Lil Silva may be moving out of Bedford sooner than he thinks.
You'll most likely have heard perhaps his biggest tune yet 'Different':
Here is JOY ORBISON playing it @ Stealth last November!!
